What is a Game Jam?
A hackathon focused on game development. It’s a team based 48 hour event where a theme is given for your game and you develop a video game (PC, Console, VR) , board game or mobile game within that time around the theme.
When: 25th-27th of January

* Saturday 7am – 11pm
* Sunday 7am – 5pm

IT equipment should be brought by the attendees so bring your laptop etc, we’ll provide plug sockets, high speed WiFi and the most critical element…caffeine.
About the event:
Join Game Devs around the world as they gather for 48 hours of game developing, pizza and a bit of craic. Running in the Mill Enterprise Hub in Drogheda for the first time, teams and individuals are encouraged to come along and make games according to a common theme which remains a very well kept secret until 5pm on Friday 25th!
Goodie bags including a commemorative T-Shirt and other goodies will be included in the welcome pack on the Friday. We’ll have special guests dropping in throughout the weekend to give some short speed talks on aspects of game development including art, sound and general development.
On the Sunday we’ll also have Spraoi VR running headsets for some eSports action!
Nebula Innovations are an established publisher of iOS, Android & PC games. Developing applications/software for mobile, web based & in house systems. This will be Nebula’s 3rd Game Jam and first game Game Jam to be held in Drogheda
